TURPAN, CHINA - JUNE 6: An Uygur man drinks tea while resting in sand at a "Sand Therapy Center", on June 6, 2007, about 10 kilometers outside Turpan, China. Sand Therapy is an important part of Uygur traditional medicine and many people come every year to get healed from different ailments, including hypertension, pain, and rheumatism. It's only open in June and July every year and thousands of patients from around China during the hottest season, that's the only time when it is hot enough.
