CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA - OCTOBER 19: Phato Mkhosana (r) talks to a friend while her girlfriend Brenda Tahabatha sits on the left in their bedroom in their house on October 19, 2011 in Khayelitsha outside Cape Town, South Africa. Cape Town is a city known for tolerating gays and lesbians except in the townships where they get harassed and often attacked. Some women have been raped in so called corrective rape, where men rapes them to make them women again. They can't show their love freely on the streets in the townships so they usually have to meet in houses and this bar. (Photo by Per-Anders Pettersson)
