dicuinit00022 Culture Initiation Xhosa boys going trough the traditional manhood ceremony in Tshatshu, South Africa. An old tradition in making men out of boys in the Xhosa culture. These boys have been circumsised a week earlier. Two boys practicing traditional spear fighting, which in older generations was a way of getting prepared for battle against other tribes..The ceremony last for about 3-7 weeks, where they stay in huts in the bush removed from family and normal life.
