DIDANCE00159.Dance, Unidentified ballet dancers wait backstage while performing during a one-week tour on April 6, 2004 in Barrydale, a town outside Cape Town, South Africa. About 40 (of about 200) lucky children were chosen to travel on this yearly tour by 'Dance For All', who teaches unprivileged children dance after school in townships outside Cape Town. The trip is for many the only opportunity to see something else than the hard township life. The group performed three nights to sold out venues. Many children are talented and the discipline taught during the dance classes has helped many to improve their concentration in school and a few have found jobs in professional dance companies in South Africa and Europe.
