An early morning commuter train full of people arrives at a station on February 28, 2002 in central Kinshasa, Congo-DRC. The country has hardly any infrastructure and people rely on riverboats and planes, when they travel around the country. The Congolese economy and infrastructure is in total disarray after 40 years of independence from Belgium. The former strongman Mobuto Sese Seko fleeced the country and he died in exile in 1997.
