KITWE, ZAMBIA MARCH 25: Mr. Albert Mwanaumo, a mineworker, sits in pain in his small house on March 25, 2007 in Kitwe, Zambia. He worked at Chimbishi, a Copper mine run by a Chinese company, and after striking and protesting, he was shot by a Chinese man. He still has bullets in his body and a terrible pain. The Chinese man was never charged and he flew back to China. Albert is now out of work and is struggling to support his family. He needs urgently to go to hospital to take out the bullets. The Chinese mine has not paid for his medical care. The mining management has been accused of floating safety rules and paying less salaries and benefits than the earlier owner..(Photo by Per-Anders Pettersson).
