General Nkunda has been charged with was crimes and he is one of the few rebel leaders that has not joined the current peace deal and elections in Congo, DRC. He has about 2-4000 soldiers in his army. Nkunda is accused of numerous war crimes and other serious human rights violations the past few years, including summary executions, torture, and rape committed under his command. The incidents are a mainly in Bukavu in 2004 and in Kisangani in 2002.
