An unidentified fire fighter from the Philippines stands in the desert with oil wells burning in the background on August 7, 1991, at Greater Burhan oilfield in Kuwait. When the Gulf War ended in February 1991,the Iraqi forces retreated and hundreds of wells were blown up.
