AKUM, CAMEROON - AUGUST 8: A boy working for the Bamendankwe Farmers Dairy Cooperative Society mixes hot milk at a "milk drinking spot" on August 8, 2009 in Bamendankwe village, Cameroon. In the late afternoon, farmers come with fresh milk to sell. Many regulars come here to have a cup and a chat for about 100 CFA, About 15 Euro cents. Many small farmers in the area are struggling to cope with low milk prices, expensive inputs and competing with low priced milk powder, that is heavily subsidized by European governments and dumped on international markets such as in Africa.
