An unidentified woman carries a basked with vegetables on February 16, 2003 in a rural area close to Gotovo, Rwanda. About 800.000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were killed in one hundred days in 1994. About 100.000 prisoners accused of the genocide are still in prison awaiting trial. Rwanda is currently trying to cope with these huge problems and some prisoners that confessed to crimes are tried in village trials, known as Gacacas. (Photo by: Per-Anders Pettersson).
