During cold days, the family usually lights a fire and brings it into the house to keep warm, as they don?t have electricity on October 16, 2003 in Khayelitsha outside Cape Town, South Africa. It's estimated that over one million people live here, most of them in appalling conditions in shacks with no running water or electricity. The township was founded in 1984.
