AMANI NATURE RESERVE, TANZANIA - NOVEMBER 13: Bertha Anderson feeds her butterflies on November 13, 2009 in Amani Nature Reserve, Tanzania. Locals have worked since 2004 to preserve this unique rainforest together with Tanzania Forest Conservation Group. The main purpose has been to preserve the rich biological life in the forest and to stop illegal logging and the cutting of trees by villagers for firewood. Many villagers has started income generating programs such as bee keeping, butterfly farms and different spices. Many women have especially been empowered by these projects such as Bertha Anderson.
