Every day people lose limbs in Cambodia as mines still are found in the fields around the country. From 1975-1979 about 1,7 million people were killed (about 21 percent of the population), in one of the worst human tragedies during recent history. It was led by Pol Pot, who used extremist ideology to repress and murder on a massive scale. (Photo by: Per-Anders Pettersson)
