OTJIWARONGO, NAMBIA- AUGUST 12: A Herero elder spits water in the faces of newly arrived Herero veterans  during a march when commemorating fallen chiefs killed in battles with Germans. The blessing ceremony is held to welcome the arrival of the members of the community. The area was the venue for decisive battles of the Herero uprisings in 1904. The Herero accuse the German Empire of Genocide of its people from 1904-07. They are currently trying to make the German government compensate the descendants of the people killed.
