Nambajimana Dassan, age 20, shows his amputated arm on February 25, 2003 in Gatagara, Rwanda. He survived the Genocide in Rwanda in 1994 and most of his family was killed. He attends a school for physically handicapped children. About 800.000 mainly Tutsis and moderate Hutus were killed in about one hundred days in 1994, and about 100.000 prisoners accused of the genocide are still in prison awaiting trial.
