SOWETO, SOUTH AFRICA MARCH 23: Dorcas M Phamlane, age 84, exercises outside her house on March 23, 2014 in Orlando West, section of Soweto, South Africa. Dorcas exercise almost daily, either on her own or with another group of pensioners in a nearby park. The residents of Soweto has seen massive investment such as shopping malls, parks, outdoor gyms in the township. Soweto today is a mix of old housing and newly constructed townhouses. The population in Soweto is estimated to be around one million people. A new hungry black middle-class is growing steadily.
