GABORONE, BOTSWANA - FEBRUARY 28: Cynthia Leshomo, age 32, the winner in the Miss HIV Stigma Free Botswana contest, visits and comforts a woman suffering from HIV-Aids in her home a few days after she won the title on February 28, 2005 in Gaborone, Botswana. The pageant is held to make the people of Botswana more aware of HIV-Aids, and stop the stigma that makes people afraid of being tested. Botswana has a population of about 1,7 million people and about 38 percent are believed to be infected with the virus. Cynthia impressed the jury with her mix of beauty and brains and won the competition. She lives with HIV and takes antiretroviral drugs two times a day. .(Photo: Per-Anders Pettersson/Getty Images)
